I have been in education for over 22 years. I have taught in Jamaica, Turks and Caicos Island, and now in the United States. Currently, I am the Associate Dean of Faculty and Staff Development at St. Paul College. I was a lecturer at the University of Minnesota in the Department of Curriculum and Instruction, where I taught literacy content and pedagogy courses to pre-service and in-service teachers.

I am a licensed social worker, social justice advocate, community advocate, and Saint Joseph Worker Alumnae. I have over ten years of experience in a variety of settings with diverse clients and has engaged students in spoken word, sex education, and healthy relationships. In 2017 I received an award of honor from the Suburban Ramsey Family Collaborative.
Sade Kelly
I am an educator with experience as a math teacher, a data coach, and a technology integration specialist. I also bring nonprofit experience as a Senior Program Director at Breakthrough Twin Cities. I oversee programming for a six-year college access program to support highly motivated, yet under-resourced students and families in the Twin Cities.
Daniel Bernal
I have taught elementary, middle, high school, and college pre-service educators over the past 10 years. Recently, I earned a PhD in Curriculum and Instruction from the University of MN. I am currently a kindergarten teacher in Minneapolis Public Schools. I serve as the Board Chair for Thrive Ed, am a member of the Thrive Ed Design Team, and currently work at Student Engagement Guide. I believe in education for social change and that we need to "do school" radically different if we want students and teachers to thrive.
Tracy Hamel
I have been an educator for over 27 years and a school-based administrator for over 12 years and I'm also a former physical education teacher, counselor, and coach. I'm the former principal of the award-winning Mason Crest Elementary School in Fairfax County, Virginia. I have also been a principal and an assistant principal for other schools in the same district.

I am a committed educator, speaker, and collaborator with expertise in assessment, leadership, system improvement, and strategic planning. I have supported students for nearly two decades as a teacher, principal, and director within school systems. I now revitalize school systems by igniting creativity, leveraging strengths and assets to build capacity, and linking assessment and feedback to invest in system evolution.
